Shivaji Rao is the Eternal Chief Minister of the state of Maharashtra in India. He hasn't ever held any other public office, nor does he have any prior political experience. Despite this, everyone in the world loves him and they all voted for him to hold the position for the rest of time.

Life before CM

Before becoming the Eternal Chief Minister, Shivaji Rao lived with his parents. His father, Bhim Rao, was a political cartoonist, while Shivaji himself worked for QTV, a television studio, as a cameraman. One day, his father drew him as the sitting Chief Minister, which upset Shivaji greatly. Shivaji then defaced the drawing with a big X over it, which set in motion the new Prophecy that led to his reign as Eternal CM today. It didn't take effect immediately, however. After some routine jobs, both on the scene and in the studio, Shivaji found himself filming a statewide riot between every single student and every single bus driver. After filming as much theft, destruction, and violence as he could, he found a student named Kumar on the ground, lying in a pool of his own red paint. He gave his camera to his stupid assistant, Topi, and carried the student over the tops of buses and vans in the traffic jam, delivering him to the hospital. Kumar survived, and Shivaji was then promoted to Senior News Reporter for his coverage of the riots.

Promotion and Interview

Upon being promoted, Shivaji was tasked with interviewing the then-CM, Balraj Chavan. Letting his nerves get to him, he decided to bang his head against a mirror until he had enough brain damage to be okay with destroying the man's career. The interview was sensational. Shivaji had done all his homework, and he had all the reciepts. He exposed Chavan's corruption to the entirety of Maharashtra, and pissed him off enough to force an error. Chavan challenged Rao to become CM for a day, and after much deliberation, he accepted the challenge. A provision in the Indian constitution was used to enable the stunt, and Shivaji's day as the CM was set to take place.
