Shivaji Rao is the Eternal Chief Minister of the state of Maharashtra in India. He hasn't ever held any other public office, nor does he have any prior political experience. Despite this, everyone in the world loves him and they all voted for him to hold the position for the rest of time.

Life before CM

Before becoming the Eternal Chief Minister, Shivaji Rao lived with his parents. His father, Bhim Rao, was a political cartoonist, while Shivaji himself worked for QTV, a television studio, as a cameraman. One day, his father drew him as the sitting Chief Minister, which upset Shivaji greatly. Shivaji then defaced the drawing with a big X over it, which set in motion the new Prophecy that led to his reign as Eternal CM today. It didn't take effect immediately, however. After some routine jobs, both on the scene and in the studio, Shivaji found himself filming a statewide riot between every single student and every single bus driver. After filming as much theft, destruction, and violence as he could, he found a student named Kumar on the ground, lying in a pool of his own red paint. He gave his camera to his stupid assistant, Topi, and carried the student over the tops of buses and vans in the traffic jam, delivering him to the hospital. Kumar survived, and Shivaji was then promoted to Senior News Reporter for his coverage of the riots.

Promotion and Interview

Upon being promoted, Shivaji was tasked with interviewing the then-CM, Balraj Chavan. Letting his nerves get to him, he decided to bang his head against a mirror until he had enough brain damage to be okay with destroying the man's career. The interview was sensational. Shivaji had done all his homework, and he had all the reciepts. He exposed Chavan's corruption to the entirety of Maharashtra, and pissed him off enough to force an error. Chavan challenged Rao to become CM for a day, and after much deliberation, he accepted the challenge. A provision in the Indian constitution was used to enable the stunt, and Shivaji's day as the CM was set to take place.

First day as Chief Minister

Shivaji's first day as CM was fraught with challenges, both natural and artificial, but he was swift to deal with each one promptly and completely. He went into his day in office with a can-do attitude perhaps not seen before in human history.

Suspension of all corrupt officials

Immediately upon entering the building, Rao called the head of every administrative department into a meeting. There, he gave them a quick speech, and commanded them to gather a list of three types of government workers: ones that don't work with honesty, ones that don't allow others to work with honesty, and those who abuse their position and power. By the end of the day, the stack of officials was too much to inspect on his own, so he ordered the immediate suspension of them all using an omnibus order.

Distribution of government housing

Shivaji next traveled to a slum populated with people who were supposed to have been given government housing. Only 1 in 100 houses had actually been given out, the rest having been taken by various ministers. Shrikant Manak, the official in charge of the housing, was suspended on site. Some of the people in the slum were discovered to have been assigned houses, and had been illegally renting them out in order to earn some money to live with. Shivaji then went to the housing block and ordered the eviction of all illegal occupants.

Collection of sales tax

Tukaram, one of the men who had been renting out his flat, asked Shivaji to help get everyone jobs, to make up for the income they would no longer earn from renting. Shivaji then immediately made a broadcasted speech informing everyone of the benefits the government is able to provide when sales tax is collected by merchants. He informed the public to ask shopkeepers for proper receipts that include sales tax. By the end of the day, they had collected more than two billion rupees in additional sales tax revenue.

Suspension of dishonest merchants

After heading to a market district, Shivaji inspected some of the vendors for scam devices. Upon finding a magnetic weight under a scale, and an improper measuring cup, he ordered the suspension of their licenses.

Suspension of an overworked doctor

Shivaji moved on to taking public grievance calls from constituents. The first one involved a woman who had taken her child, sick with the flu, to the hospital. She complained that she had been waiting hours, and the doctor who should have been taking care of her child was stuck at his own separate practice. Shivaji spoke to one of the nurses there, and informed him that the doctor was suspended via fax. Another doctor then attended to the child.

Suspension of a stupid cop

A lady from Nagpur called to complain that the local police weren't doing anything about her husband's stolen scooter, and that they would yell and use foul language when asked about it. Shivaji called into the police station, posing as the woman's husband to verify the behavior. A cop named Uday Mohite yelled at him, as expected, and was then faxed a suspension order. Scared, he asked who it was on the phone. When Shivaji replied, "CM," the man's entire cop uniform immediately disintegrated.

Single-handed dissolution of an entire gang in hand-to-hand combat

After absolutely nothing else, a girl from A.M. Women's College called in, complaining that she and her classmates were suffering sexual harassment from members of a gang headquartered in the nearby slums. The cops had done nothing to stop the behavior, because the gang's leader, Ranga, had political influence. The inspector in charge said that a cop who had gone there had been decapitated, and his head put on display. Shivaji ordered the suspension of every policeman involved, and headed to the slums, himself. Ranga had been watching the CM's broadcast when he arrived, not realizing the entire entourage was coming into his room. After a few moments of banter, Shivaji grabbed Ranga, and realized they had met before, during the riot. He remembered that Ranga had threatened him at the time, and the fight begun.

No one else dared interfere as the gang members all attacked Shivaji, then held him in place for Ranga to stab him. Shivaji broke free, and threw many of the gang members off of the roof. He took Ranga on one-on-one, chasing him over rooftops until they reached the highway. Ranga jumped onto a bus, and Shivaji onto another. They fought atop the vehicles, jumping from bus to bus together until Ranga knocked Shivaji off. Shivaji grabbed the end of the bus, held on for a while, and then climbed between two buses to reach Ranga once more. They exchanged blows, but an approaching low bridge forced them both prone, where they continued to fight for several seconds. They both got back up, but Shivaji had the clear upper hand, beating Ranga some more before kicking him onto a nearby Pepsi truck. With a final flying kick, he knocked Ranga to the ground, in front of his gang, all of whom were now naked and kneeling. Ranga was also naked, and decided to kneel as well before Shivaji commanded them to chant. They marched forward on their knees, defeated, chanting "women are like my sisters" while allowing all the women to beat them as desired.

Arrest of Balraj Chavan

Right after giving the final order to suspend all corrupt officials, Shivaji headed to the party's building of the real CM, Balraj Chavan. With a combination of police and military infantry forces, Shivaji had everyone in the building arrested. Chavan thought he could not be arrested, as arresting the CM is not typically allowed. Shivaji reminded Chavan that he still wasn't CM for several minutes, which he was not expecting. Shocked and determined, Chavan said to Shivaji, "your good times have begun," before going with the police to jail.
