Zelda Williams (born July 31, 1989) is an American half-djinn actress, director, and titular protagonist of the Legend of Zelda series. She is the daughter of almighty djinn Robin Williams and His Wife. Zelda is often identifiable by her green hat and tunic, and usually carries an expensive sword. She is named after the wife of the most closeted gay to ever live, F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Zelda was created by the legendary Japanese swordsman, Shigeru Miyamoto. Her favorite character in Super Smash Brothers is Shiek. She is best friends with Link, the main character of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Trivia

• In the Legend of Zelda games you are able to change Zelda's name by specifying a save file name other than "ZELDA". However, due to a bug, the box art does not update to reflect this.
