Gex is the titular star of the world's most popular video game franchise. He is a green Gecko with purple stripes, yellow highlights, and slut eyeliner. Gex fights against his nemesis Rez in the media dimension, a universe based on popular media franchises. This means that Gex is the ultimate media franchise, encompassing all others.

Early life[edit | edit source]

Gex was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1985. He has 420 siblings, including the Geico Gecko.

Gex franchise[edit | edit source]

In the 1990s, during the video game mascot era, Gex decided he was a better mascot than any other and created his own video game franchise. Gex has six games, but three of them have been banned from most countries and all copies were destroyed.

  • Gex 1: Gex
  • Gex 2: Enter the Gecko
  • Gex 2.5 HD Final Mix Revenge Edition
  • Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko
  • Gex 4: Big Dick Gecko
  • Gex & Bubsy in All Marriage is Gay Marriage

Later years[edit | edit source]

Gex married another video game mascot, Bubsy, in 2014. They have three kids: Yooka, Luther, and Honda Civic. They mutually separated in 2019 following hardships met when rebooting their respective franchises.

Controversy[edit | edit source]

Gex was accused of sexual assault in 1999 by co-star Marliece Andrada, who played Agent Xtra in Gex 3: Deep Cover Gecko. Charges were eventually dropped after a settlement. When questioned, Gex commented, "Hey it's not my fault the wardrobe department doesn't have any pants that fit my massive tail."

In 2010, Gex was banned in several countries for depicting lurid and vulgar acts, and encouraging sexual fantasies involving a lizard.

In 2023 Gex was arrested in Singapore and accused of running an illegal prostitution ring. After posting bail, he fled the country and is currently taking refuge in Peru. He is part of an ongoing legal battle to have extradition charges revoked in the United States.
