The Darkness is where you go. It is the final resting place of naughty boys and girls. The darkness arrives every night and takes another. The voices call out to the children and they are compelled to come to it. It has been like this for years. When will it cease to torture us so?

In 2007, a video game adaptation of The Darkness was released for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. It received a sequel in 2012 called The Darkness 2.

History

The Darkness first encircled our fair village in the year 1841 after the disappearance of several children. It will not stop coming.

In 1965, the Darkness was rated #4 on Time Magazine's list of worst fates imaginable.
